Some of them passed, the others I found new homes for when the tank went. Mind you, the Oscars where about eight years old so were doing quite well. With the benefit of hindsight, I don't think I would go for such a large aquarium again, it's a lot of work and maintenance and it's very expensive to keep. Having said that, if you don't mind all of that, then it's fantastic. I enjoyed the seven years I had it, but I wouldn't do it again, I would go for something a third of the size at maximum.

Quick followup for those worried about trapped poops.

I have flow moving from the gravel upwards, quite a bit of flow, the entire tank swirls. Anything on the bottom gets swept up and towards the overflows. The gravel bed has stayed spotless, haven't had a single piece of resting poop yet. I will definitely keep a look out for spots where debris can build up though. Thanks for the heads up!
