finally i got my 5 feet tank.. 3 feet height... 2 feet width... 490 liter tank ready... now only the setup and then i can move fishes...

can someone suggest how many oscars should i keep in it??? right now i have 3...

in a little confused by your post here. you list your tank as 490 liters then describe a tank that calculates out to 850 liters. assuming you make a mistake in the conversion to liters and your tank is actually 850 liters i would say it is not large enough for any more oscars. i have tried four oscars in a 220 gallon tank and had disasterous results. imo you should try something other than oscars to help fill your tank with fish.

3 feet high is nice and involves taking a big gulp of air every time you work on the bottom!
Just hope the liter calculation was wrong and not the size in feet...

according to your dimentions your tank is 187 uk gals .... 850 litres or 219 us gals .... this tank is exactly the same volume as my display tank ....i run 2 fx5,s on it......and keep 1 oscar in it .......with a few smaler tankmates..

hmm i think i am a little wrong with the liter calculation...
but the size in feet is right
L x B x H = 5 feet x 2 feet x 3 feet
i really hope my 3 oscars stay fine ..
