I moved Oliver from my school tank (55g)to a new larger (80g) tank at home Tuesday and he's doing great!

I was a little worried about how he'd take the move but he did fine. Reading all the info here really helped me out, so thanks! He was def. not happy with me but perked back up to his usual self within a day or two. I moved him in a 5 gallon bucket and the drive was only 10 minutes but he spent about an hour overall in the bucket.

The main thing I would do differently next time is have an extra heater to heat up the new tank ahead of time, I had to wait for the water to warm up before I put him in and that took awhile.

My hubby can't get over how much he eats a poops! I swear they have got to be the most pooping per ounce ratio of any animal!

Now I'm just deciding on if he needs any tankmates...
