Well, i have had my 120 gallon tank for about 5 months now. And was going to build the stand for it, and made quite a bit of progress before June hit. Working on the stand was a lot of fun in the spring when it was 80 degrees out. But is unbearable when it is 100+ degrees in the summer.
I just placed and order with Aquarium world in houston, tx and should have my new black pine aqueon Stand ready for pick up in a couple of weeks.
Good thing is i caught it on sale... only $275 after taxes. so i should have it all setup within 4 weeks YAAAAY!!!

well that was quick. i went and picked up the stand last night from houston. i get home around 9 pm, and start moving stuff around in the living room to make room for the new setup and promptly get shut down by my girlfriend... (something about how i spend too much time with the fish and not enough with her )
kinda frustrating, i've waited like 6 months to get all the pieces together, and now that i do, i can't set it up

Thor give it a bit of time... I get the same story from my old man... She will adjust. Maybe if you explain that the bigger tank in the long run will take less time to care for, she might rethink the situation... Good luck hun!

yaaaay! it's in the living room right now, with the minute sand particles settling to the bottom as i type this.
