as you have known, we were hit by calamities and my tank have been
affected by power outage. since then, i was hit by green algae.
this coming weekend, i have to do something with my filtering system to
cope up with the sudden changes:

actually, i am preparing my multi stage filtering system
to cope with that algae. i will post how it goes step by step

paul ive had that happen in my koi tank. pack the first stage of your filter with cottonballs. it will catch most of it. over a 2-3 day time it will clear up dramatically. altho you have to change the cottonballs daily or they will stop up and your water flow will decrease dramatically.

sux about the algae but it does make for a cool pic os the oscar swimming through the green.....hope u can sort it out!

What do your waterparameters do ,due to the calamities?
