I'm sure the Oscar will love that, just like sticking a nice big lobster on my plate

You'll have to get some advice from someone who has done it, however, an Oscar could easily kill one of these little critters.

definitely no. they have two different temperature requirements.
axolotl requires low temp while oscar needs warm water.

i was curious about the crawfish thing too. i saw a "blue lobster" (freshwater blue crawdad) at the lfs a while back, and was tempted to get it.
figured it wouldn't last long
man i'm getting hungry thinking about crawfish

question: do they have crawfish boils over in the UK?
Please, for my sake, change your oil!

hey thor, there is a local guy on etreefers.com selling alot of stuff, and amongst it is a blue lobster thats 5-6" and he only wants 5 bucks for it, im considering buying it

but they are f'n mean to your fish at night. id hate to see something get nipped by those claws, im debating it.

Its not a good idea to put creatures in the tank with claws. Either your oscar will look as them as food and try to eat them, or they might try to snap at your oscar and take chunks out of them

Ive heard of people keeping yabbies with oscar with no problems but i wouldnt try it cause a have a few small clown loaches and a bristlenose which could end up as food for the yabbie.
