never had fish before. didn't know anything about water cycle. got 2 baby oscars (2 in.) 5 days later tank has clouded instantly. 20 gal. with great filter. i am getting a 65 gal. soon but fear i can't create cycle quick enough in that tank. can i do partail water changes till cycle is in effect? can i buy bottled enzyme and speed the process up? will the enzyme hurt the fish in the tank?

Yes, do several BIG Water Changes. Try and get some bio-zyme to help you tank. Bio-zyme will cycle your tank within a couple days, although it's not terribley cheap. BTW, a 65 gallon tank is too small for two oscars...start looking into something around 100 gallons or more.

Artemis is right, do 50% water changes daily until the test result for ammonia and nitrite is zero, then the tank is cycled. After that you need to test for nitrate regularly and ideally keep it below 20 ,but below 40 is good. Keep nitrate down by doing water changes

In the uk you can get something called stress zyme. This will help cycle the tank. Never tried it myself but OFL says it works

Alternatively can you get some biological media (the hollow tubes or rocks in a filter) from someone with a cycled tank. If you put that in your filter you will either have a cycled tank or be very close to it

Try not to feed them too much. Once a day and only what they will eat in 3 to 5 mins until your water conditions are good.
I can't get no sleep

Never used of it myself, but I've heard it's not very good. Of course, there's only one way to find out if that's true or not.
