I have a tank that has a mirror on the back of the tank. I have 2 baby Oscars that seem to be a little freaked out by it. They swim up and down the back of the tank, sometimes looking like they are "attacking" the image. They do not fight with each other at all. I have only had these guys for 2 days. Is this similar to the light issues where they will get use to it after a few days?

Thanks in advance!

Lots of creatures act strange when they see their reflexion, they just see it as another fish.

I just wonder if it will stress them too much. Fish pick up on any flash usually

It is very difficult to say whether it would stress them out. I wouldn't have thought it would cause much harm, if they stop eating and behave strangely all the time, then it could be a problem. If it disturbs you, remove the mirror if you can. Can't say I've ever noticed a problem with my fish. It really depends on how the room is let to whether or not they will see their reflection, I haven't noticed it happening in my big tank, but it used to get my 125 gallon tank.

most fishes think glass reflection as an open space to explore, the same way they
jump over the edge of the tank. going up and down is trying to figure out how to
get through in it.

Mirrored backs on tanks are perfect for cichlids, they soon get used to their reflections. Have you ever seen those pictures or videos of oscars opening their mouths onto tank glass, its cause they can see their own reflection and they think its another fish. Have you ever looked out of a window when its dark out and the lights are on inside, you get a reflection of the room in the window. Same thing happens in a tank.
I can't get no sleep

lol mine do that 2. they'll swim for a bit around the tank then get occupied on the reflection and just swim up and down for a while then go back to swimmming around and back at it again.
