hello all. i have a 3" albino oscar in a 24"Lx12"Bx24"H tank i bought her/him before one month. from yesterday morning he is not taking food and seem to be very tired today afternoon i noticed a snow like thing hanging near his upper wings his waste is also very white.i change water every week and the temp is normal but i do not check nitrate levels. i have 6 big oscars with me but i have not faced this problem. so any body with good advice.

Anyway, joking aside your tank is nowhere big enough for seven Oscars if I have read correctly. You are going to have to provide us with some information about water quality. Also, try and take a photograph because I have no idea what a "snow like thing" is.

no, i have only the 3"o in the above said tank all others are in a 2000lit tank.the snow like thing is like a white thead about 1cm long.the water is clear i dont have equipments to check water condition. i will try to post a pic tommarow.

You mentioned that the feces is white. I hope this isn't some kind of internal parasite but until we see a photograph, we will not know. You must give us a water test result as soon as possible

Test your water for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate. Also a pic is a must for us to see what is wrong
