I'm not really sure what to say here. Are you actually thinking about getting 12 Oscars? Your tank isn't even big enough for one Oscar in my opinion. It's obviously totally un-cycled.

As for your filtration system, what the hell is that all about?

I'm lost for words at the moment, please do not get any Oscars, in fact don't get any fish until you can set up a proper aquarium and filtration system

did you say you put dirt in your filter? unless that is some sort of brand of media I've never heard of......LOL

I would say putting actual dirt (i.e. from the earth) is not a good thing to do

you're right that's why I have not get Oscar yet
I'm looking forward to get small Oscar though it's good enough for 2 inches Oscar

I don't understand the bio filters and never seen them here, my filters only pick up dirt it's a powerful filter that's all I know. fish in there now are feeder act as tester for water condition. my tank is really too small for even 1 Oscar? that's not what I read about on this web

a 2 inch oscar only stays 2 inches for um, about a day. They grow really fast - about an inch a month (or more) until they get 10 or 10 inches - maybe more. so, you need to plan a tank for an adult oscar

it looks to me like you have some sort of internal filter. These generally are not big enough for oscars. What size is your tank, you need at least 55g for one oscar. Get yourself one or 2 external filters, your total filtration needs to be rated for a tank twice as big as the tank you have. Eg if you have a 55g tank you need filtration rated for 110g. Please read the section on the main page about cycling a tank

in 2 inch they grow an inch a month which mean if it's good enough for 5 inch I still have 3 month to prepare for the extra tank, or I can house them temporary in a big container which I use to collect rain water now

so the cycle mean the whole tank water filtered my tank is almost 60 G
which mean I need filter that filter 60 G every half an hours? which are 120 an hour

how do I measure that? I have 2 filter running one weak one strong should be enough but water still cloudy

this is incorrect, fish grow depeinding on amount feed. i bought 4 2" oscars about 4 months ago, they might be 3" now,
my friends and i have not seen the growth rate that this web site suggest, and between all of us we have over 15 oscars.

err did you mean that they grow from 2" to 5" in 4 month? I plan for a larger tank going to find a cheap tank and equipment tomorrow, I don't go to aquarium going to find those who actually deal with the glasses and stainless steel workshop to get a pricing, I'm quite freak out while people here said 60 gal tank is not enough for 1 Oscar which mean if I'm getting 12 720 gal is not enough for 12, I guess I'll plan it deep down myself

in 10 month my 2" oscar grew to be 12" long, its now about 13". and if your even thinking it might be okay to use a bin you collect rain water in, to keep fish... just dont buy any fish and put a rubber ducky or something in that bin... atleast you could see it then. seriously if you dont have the means to properly house oscars from the beginning, you shouldnt buy them. that "ill upgrade later" shit never works properly, at some point the fish will be in poor water. my advice to you is get a bigger aquarium, a proper external canister filter instead of what looks like an internal sponge filter. that is not enough for a messy oscar. and you want 12 of them? your going to need a 600 gallon tank or bigger for that. are you sure you want oscars? maybe you should learn something about fish keeping and start with something easy like a goldfish, then work your way up. just for the fish's sake. do you even own a test kit??? test kits are mandatory.
