hey guys,
i bought a 130 gallon tank from craigs list for 250$, has a nice wood stand and a lifegard filter system and plumbing
af-94-19 mechanical
af-93-19 cemical
af-92 uv/heater casitor

doing some research right now about setup and filters

When we moved the tank two bulkhead fitting in the bottom of the tank got broke, LFS has them on order.
but my question is, the old owner had no gravel if i wanted gravel how do i prevent it from going into the 3/4 pvc pipping via the bulkheads? is there a screen or filter? that coves the two holes? would it prevent it from filtering as well?
thanks for info

Is your tank plumbed in for a sump filter? It might be an idea to take a photograph so we know what you're talking about

if you type in thos model numbers of the filters you will know what type they are. i dont have a camera,. it has a hole on the left side and a hole on the right side, one side goes into the filter, one side goes out. lol

if you know what "bulkheads" are? i just found the name on goggle. they are almost flush with the bottom and i want to add gravel, but previous owner ssaid i need a pad or the gravel with get sucked into the bulkhead holes about 1/2 in size, they are threaded on the bottom and the 3/4 pvc pipping attaches amd goes to the filter

need a bulkhead kit, replace the broken bulkheads, and get a suction screen

it goes together just like in the pic above. the 90 on the left there is optional.
