just got the phone call I've been waiting for - my new tank, stand and canopy have arrived!! I ordered it on Dec 4- the wait is finally over! I'll post photos after I get it setup. Heading out to go pick it up - I was just so excited I had to share the news with my fish peeps!

the whole setup was much easier than I thought.... a lot of careful planning and organizing sure paid off.

we transferred the fish tonight and at first they sulked; but after about 30 minutes - they started exploring their new world.... and they seemed to enjoy it - swimming up and down in the bubble wall and swimming the whole stretch of the 6' tank. The loaches are really loving it.

I'll post photos tomorrow - right now there are so many tiny air bubbles on all the surfaces that need to dissipate first - it's hard to get a decent photo. I can't remember if this is normal - but there are tiny air bubbles on all surfaces... the substrate, the walls of the tank, the airline tubes; absolutely everywhere!
