As my last days were not the best in my life, i decided to speed up my hospital/Quarantine tank.
I did this this afternoon and transferred a cycled filter from my 90Gl tank.
After that i went to the LFS, and finally had the guts to buy a tiger O.
With multiple O spots, that i like so much.
I'm now getting the fish used to my water and will release him in a few minutes.
I only got no lights until tonight, so pics may have to wait!
Things are taking a turn for the better!
Thank God....

Not all dark O spots are rounded off with red, one has 4 tiny spots and one has two.
He's not shy at all and allready ate 2 pellets.

Not sure how long i should quarantine though!
Since he looks very healthy.

Noddy she is wonderful... Her name should be HOPE.

I would give her a couple weeks in the Q tank... just to be sure...

Better, my meds are working and i took my wife to the lfs to look at the o.
She was still tired, but sane!
My mom aggreed to keep my daughter in Germany for some more days, so we can take our time to get better.
My wife was pretty moved by all the responses and prayers by the members of the forum.

And she said that she wanted to change her 90Gl comm tank into a cichlid tank, so were on the right track!

btw the hospitaltank is for quarantine only, until the tiger can go in the 180.
Ow, how i longed for a O with an actual O spots.
Finally i got a Starry eye!

YES, but my tiger displays 3 more dark spots on his backfin , with some red colour in it.As you know i missed the o spot on my red o.
I'll clean the outside of the tank and get some better pics.
btw how often should i change water if the tiger stays in there for at least two weeks?
He's 6-7"now, but i suppose he needs fresh water some times a week????

Please enlighten me, for i never had a hospital tank.
The tank is 40Gl i think...
He is now roaming the tank and acting very relaxed,playing hide and seek behind the wood.She was used to a bare bottom tank with no hiding places.
If things do not turn out and if my bronze O does not aggree to the company in the 180Gl, the hospital tank will be a convict breeder for my Gar.
And the Tiger may end up in Kim's tank, with other cichilds.
All fish she likes now, i have to tell her, No, that wont work, those are cichlids!
Time and time again...she's getting hooked!
I may need another Plecotank than.
and the aquascaping was done in 10 minutes, so that will improve coming days.

really pleased u got yr o mate, also pleased yr wife has gone down the cichlid foute weldone noddy bet u treid hard to get her into cichlids!! lol
