On Decoration I think the one of the best is the one in this link. Have a look but it is not exactly cheap but I am well considering this when I get my tank. Its the third post down I think.

Rocks and driftwood. Driftwood can be expensive to buy but if you find rocks they are free. Just add some vinegar to them first- if they fizz dont use them
I can't get no sleep

Why not Dell? I found my first fizz rock the other day. And I was wondering why?

If it fizzes it will leach minerals into the tank, affecting the hardness of the tank, in effect they will slowly dissolve. Those that dont fizz dont leach , example granite is a good rock

Del is exactly right

Putting a drop of vinegar on them and seeing if it will fizz will tell you whether or not it contains the mineral calcite, which will dissolve in water (although very slowly) and cause your pH to rise. The mineral dolomite is similar to calcite, but doesn't fizz when vinegar is put on it; it DOES fizz if some of the mineral is scraped off into a powder, and then some vinegar is put on that.

I learned that in chem class in highschool.

When I was back in my fish keeping days in the late 80's (showing my age here lol ) I read up on the fizzing tests. As you say you can't go wrong with granite. I was told and read that you can go a better step and put a drop of (i think it was sulphuric acid) from a car Battery. No waiting is involved. Make sure you have the stone perfectly clean before doing this as any impurities on it will react with the solution.

THIS IS SOMETHING I READ YEARS AGO SO I HOPE I AM CORRECT.... Please correct me if I am wrong... I am thick skinned...Lol
