You need a min of 110 Gal Tank.

Canister type filters are recommended 3x-4x GPH of the tank size.

Oscars are compatible for the most part not by breed but by size. Some O's are just buts and cant be kept with other fish but for the mt part (especially if they grow up together) they will be very tolorant of each other

Pellets should be the staple of there Diet Hikari makes the best pellets, just get the right size for your O. They also like mealworms, crickets, earth worms, brine shrimp (forzen or live), bloodworms, etc. . . I would jst check into what your local fish stores have.

Your Oscars even as babies would love a 180. I would suggest 2 Oscars and maybe a couple smaller tank mates..

I wouldn't buy several and wait for them to pair, as sexual maturity doesn't come till they are between 1 and 2 years old.

I would pick 2 O's and some cool mates... Or maybe even 1 Oscar and several cool tank mates.

Yeah bigger is better. Do you know about the cycle? If you have not checked out the site yet you really should. If you get like 20 comets toss them in there, and just dont do a water change till your nitrates hit 40.

There aren't any Oscar Hybrids, but you can find some nice looking ones in just about any LFS... After that it is all your preference.

Ask away whenever you have a question... We are here to help.

1 oscars needs minimum of 55G (uk gallons), 2 need 75G. However this is the minimum tank size and if you stock at this levels you will need to lots of tank maintainence and you wont be able to miss out the odd water change

with a 180g either get a few oscars (5 or 6) and wait until you have a breeding pair and rehome the rest, or get 2 oscars and some tankmates
I can't get no sleep
