bad news: i was awaken this morning by the wifey.... TANK IS LEAKING!
rushing outside the house and found out big tank has only less than 6
inches deep water. staying calm, put new water in the 48"x 21"x 21" old
tank, transfer the filter system, and scoop all the fishes one by one.
i will post picture when i got home tonight after office hours.

Oh Paul, I am so sorry... I know it sucks. Good thing you all saw it when you did or you could have had loads of dead babies...

i am not sure what will happen but this is what i'm going to do.
have ordered flexiglass, polymers with hardener, and some silicon
sealant.
1) clean the bottom plate and remove existing sealant;
2) pour the self leveling polymers with hardener;
3) top the broken bottom plate with a pre-cut flexiglass
4) apply sealant in all corners.
5) allow to cure for 48 hours.

you may wonder what for is the polymers with hardener. basically,
that is to attached the flexiglass to the broken bottom plate. that
will bind and give added strength to the bottom plate.

I don't see why it wont work as long as nothing is toxic and if it will hold the weight of the water.. Good Luck Hun!

A leaking tank is a bummer, but at least you found out before all the water drained out and you lost fish.

Nah, i see it's different damage then last time.
Is the tank set on a leveled flat surface?
Stresss cracks unsually run diagonal...

i can not lift the bottom plate to dries up the bottom cushion, thus i have
to wait another day. top-over can be done in a day including curing. perhaps
it breaks because there was a mind shake on the ground that night...
3.5 magnitude earthquake which i did not notice nor felt while sleeping.
