Hello all, I am new here but didnt have time to read all the important posts about new people and the dos and donts.

My problem is kind of a simple one, I currently have an Oscar and another fish in a ten gallon tank, I know bad idea
I just got the Oscar and I had fully planned to get a new tank, well I just today got my new 75 gal, tank but I dont think i
have the time to cycle it, because I have completly lost control of the 10 gal. Is it possible to put the Oscar into the new tank before its fully cycled? and how hard will it be to take control of the water with Oscar living in it.

when I say lost control of the 10 gal, I mean the water levels are good but the water is brown.

All help, is helpful

Fill the new tank now (leave enough room for the 10g's water to go in) and put all the heaters and filter on it, make sure you fill the tank with water the same temperature as the water in the 10g. Then transfer the water from the 10g, the fish and the filter. Leave the 10g fulter running on the 75g for at least 6 weeks

Do daily 25%to 30% water changes until your tank is cycled
I can't get no sleep

natrate 0ppm

have you done what dellboybully had suggested.
you should have some reading for ammonia, nitrite and nitrate
if you transfer all stuff from the small tank to the big tank.
unless you wash the old filter with tap before doing so

nevertheless, i suggest you raised temp to 84 deg F and add aeration for
10 days to solve the ick/white spot. you were hit with it due to sudden
change.... what filter are you running now aside from the old one???
