I was wondering if anyone has experience with black sand substrate. I am thinking about going to black sand in my Oscar tank. From a quick search I came across Black Bueaty,Tahitian Moon, and 3M quartz. It sounds like Black Beauty might not be healthy for the fish, Tahition Moon might be expensive, and 3M quartz might be inexpensive and be okay for the fish health. I would appreciate your thoughts.

Oh, maybe if I would have clicked the link you provided before opening my trap (or unleashing my fingers to type ), I would have realized who Ikkie is.
