Wow, seems like not too long ago I got my 90 set up and ready to go and something else pops up. Some deals are too good to pass up.

Found this guy...

on Craigslist for $100. 150 Gallon Tank and Canopy. Interior dimensions are 71x17x23 which makes it an actual 120 U.S. Gallons. Scary how much 1/2 inch glass and trim takes from the amount of water. Still a pretty good deal.

I will begin buying materials to build a stand and hope to have water in it in a month. Keep posted for pics and whatnot.

P.S. I somehow managed to fit this thing into my Civic HB for the move from Jax to Sav. Just had to take out the passenger seat and turn it around backwards.

Ok, after a closer look. It's actually a 125. The CL dimensions included the canopy. Still a hell of a deal.

HAHA, no way I'd put any water in it now. The two end tables will not even think about holding this tank with water. I just put it on there to keep it off the ground.

As far as the stand goes... any suggestions? I was just planning on getting some 2x4's and wrap it in 1/4 in. plywood and stain it. All I know is that it has to be extra sturdy cause one site I read said that this tank is 1400 pounds with water.

Correct unbelieveable some of the weight in a tank....

Water is about 10Lb per gallon plus the weight of the tank that can be 80 100 kilo.

That's what I was thinking about too. Just concerned about my woodworking skills. HAHA. Don't need 125 gallons on my living room floor. Guessing I'll just have to buy extra screws and a lot of liquid nails.
