First off, I know I haven't been on lately and it's because I have been working 60 hours a week so when I'm not working I'm sleeping lol. But This job will be over in August so I will be able to be on again.

Second, my EBJD has not been eating much lately at all. He won't eat any flakes or pellet foods, I have tried several different foods including hikari gold. He will only eat live foods (guppies, crickets, and bloodworms). I am thinking he may just be getting picky but I know that these fish are very prone to parasites. What do you guys think?

I have never owned a JD but have had simular problems with other fish. as the fish is eating you can rule out water or sickness. you can try stop feeding for a few days. NO food at all. then after say 4 days retry with pellets. if that don't work a longer time starving may work. I have a Arowana that just won't eat anything other than king prawns or worms, crickets, blood worm. so it don't always work. my arow took about 10 days to eat something other than crickets. I settled with its diet now. but starvation should work, its a test of will power.

I think you could continue to feed your Oscar what you want the JD to eat.. eventually he'll eat it too.
