So,now, I am really pondering breeding flowerhorns and/or oscars and selling(?) their fry.

This has me really intrigued.

I can get an "idea" of the scope of the work involved, but if I make it through all the work, what is the best way to offload the fry?

I assume multiple channels would be the preferred way, local pickup, LFS, shipping?

What are the best sites to advertise fry on?

Cheers,

J

I would use Ebay, and www.aquabid.com/....

But I have to tell you, even with Africans, raising fry is a LOT of work.... Lots of water changes, lots of food, lots of filters.. And my experience is TINY Africans...

You better be sure....

Thanks Nicki.

I understand your caution, and I appreciate it as well.

I am continuing to think and research. I will of course not do anything until my mind is 100% made up.

If I do decide to pull the trigger on this, I would also set the equipment up ahead of time. I would try to do it as right as a first timer can the first time out.

Also keep in mind, of the cost it will take to keep all these fry, New tanks, heaters, filters and like Nicki said all the work it takes also.
But if you can sell all the fry it may be worth it
