Hei guys!

What's the minimum tank size preferably to keep a single parrot fish?
How about for a flowerhorn?

Thanks a lot!

to be fair to the fish (parrot) that is I would say 40+g. they are a little smaller than a oscar and don't swim as fast, have a good turning circle but still manage a fair old size. catch help with a flowerhorn.

you could have either one in a 40gallon - 60 gallon. If you want both in the same tank go for a 55 or 60.

i wouldn't agree keeping both in the same tank unless you put
divider.... flowerhorn will just killthe parrot fish....

but for the tank size, 40g with good filtration will be okey

Ok. It means that I could keep either one of them in a 40G. Good.

Ye, sounds good. Right now, tank size matters for me when selecting the type of fish that I'll be keeping. . I can't go for big tanks right now due to limited space in my apartment, but the arowana is always getting my attention for quite sometime. . hehe. .

Arowanas are awesome. If I had a 100g+ tank I would get an arowana. I'm on the same boat as you with no space for large tanks.
