I thought since this was blank I would ask what ca s everyone kept if any. I keep vieja synspilus,severums(2 green and 1 gold) a fire mouth and am growing out some chuco intermedius. lets hear what ya got.

I've got two dempseys, several cons, a firemouth pair and a midas. I may also get some blood parrots(not the dyed ones) if it seems their okay...

I also have a male fm and a male jd(he came with my oscar) and a pair of honduran red points who have just spawned so I have wigglers, we ll see if they make it this being their first time of hopefully many to come.

I have 1 gold severum and 3 Geophagus Surinamensis (Earth Eaters). Pics are on my webpage below. They get on well with my Oscars now, however I originally had 4 severums. 3 of the severums hid and eventually died from stress. The remaining one is going very well.

As much as i love my oscars CA's are t'riffic i have a sajica tank, convict tank a ejbd and male salvin. Have also kept/spawned rainbows,texas,midas,green terror(SA).

I have some severums, a firemouth, a Jd, a jaguar(not sure if SA), a blue acara, a pearl cichlid(geo brazil). I also bred some convicts a while back for fun (soon got fed up of that tho) and a synspilus. I also have a chocolate cichlid and a niguarian- not sure if these SA

I have 3 jack dempseys, 3 salvinis, 6 lil oscars, 6 lil clowns, 1 pleco
1 lil parrot (against my promise to myself never to by a dyed fish) but I wanted to try one
and it was just too darn cute & by the way its getting along with everyone nicely. Oh! I forgot
I also have a small red devil, that I don't think will be very red. Yep! well stocked but moving up to a bigger tank probably by the end of the month.

ive got 2 gold severums in one of my tanks and they seem to get spooked very easily the one keeps hiding aswell.

severums are nice fish.

Some parrots are dyed, but many aren't. The calico and red varieties aren't, but the blue and yellow ones are. Please don't buy a fish that is dyed, it a very cruel process and the fish are injected with dye using needles that would be the size of pencils to us. Not to mention they live unusually short lives.

My 9'' Jack Dempsey Jade died yesterday:( Was very old. Right now the only CA's i have are a convict cichlid. I'll be getting another jack dempsey and some more cons soon.

Sorry to hear your JD died. 9" is a pretty nice sized JD! How long did it take to get to that length and how old was it when it died?
