I purchased a pair of juvenile Pink Convicts either in late December 2008 or early January 2009 (I don't recall well). They were so small I placed them in a small tank (10 USgal) I use to grow surviving fry (so far Convicts and Kenyi) that I end up giving away.

In early March I moved them into the Oscars' tank after a major water change with partial re-scaping -a method I learned here to create some confusion and divert attention and reduce risks of aggression towar newly introduced tankmates.

I took this pic of the two (male at left, slightly behind; female at right, slightly above). Since I have two Convicts already paired-off I figure I have good chances for these two to pair-off as well.



Are Pink Convicts actually albino Zebra Convicts or a distinct variety of Convicts?

if you can get a pink and an ordinary one to breed you will get some amazing MARBLE CONVICT fry!!!!!!!!!!!!!
