Can somebody give some information about white parrot. Size, behavior, suitable tankmates etc. I'm hoping to buy 1 for my tank(150 Gallon). I already have 2 tiger oscars and 2 angelfish. Seems like my angelfish are bit aggressive, they are attacking my 2.5 inch oscars. So i want a bright color fish that can defend itself from angelfish.
Would white parrot be a good choice?

White parrot? Hmmm... There are like 3 different kinds of parrot ciclids... true parrot, blood parrot, parrot/macaw cichlid... do you know the scientific name?

I think i found a pic from internet. I believe this is the fish (what they called white parrot) i saw in the fish shop.
Can you give me some information about this fish. The website says this is jelly bean.

That is a pink convict. They would be fine in your tank. I dont suggest getting male and females though. They are likely to defend there nest and get quite aggressive

Nooo sir! That is a jellybean parrot, a hybrid between parrot cichlids (female) and pink convict (male).

definetly a jellybean. i have a breeding pair in one of my oscar tanks. they are tough little fish with attitudes but fortunetly they only grow to about 3 inches in lengh.

oic. Didnt realize. Is that naturally ocurring? Would a parrot and pink con do this in a tank?
