I have been doing some research on these african cichlids and was wondering if anybody had any experience with them. Im thinking about finding a tank somewhere and keeping a few of them. I would love to get several and find a breeding pair although it takes 3 or 4 years for sexual maturity.

I love em. I hope that i can get some soon. They are a bit pricy though. They get quite large just like oscars, but it takes a really long time. They can live 25+ years! I have heard that they are similar to oscars personality wise but not aggressive at all. If i can get a tank i might have to get a few.

Wow. That is the cheapest i have ever seen fronts. Our lfs sells em for $36 and are rarely in stock. Have you ever ordered fish from here? Or any website that that delivers to your door? I would be worried about recieving dead fish.

No I haven't but several people on here have.. I think you can trust them!

I checked the address, and they are only about 3 hours from where i live. Thats not too far for the fish to travel. I will have to go craigslist cruising to see if i can find a tank. I will have to wait till i move back to school though. Now i am excited. I cant wait. Hope it works out.
