I have several Malawi's that look like they have internal parasites.. With all the rescues it was bound to happen...

Anyway I treated the tank 2 days ago with Jungle Parasite meds.. I have to do a water change today. My question is should I treat the tank with one more dose or not? Opinion please.

Ok, Thanks BGH!
So you just treated per instructions twice without a 25% water change in between?

That's the weird part... they never stop eating.. and I know not all of them have it... So how many times do I treat the tank? I have enough for one more dose...

now i realize that sunken tummy was not due to IP.
perhaps somewhere in the tanks are loads of eggs....
most specie have sunken tummy after egg laying....
the reason why you see one of them having baby in
the mouth while taking picture........

You must have some keen eyes Paul, I zoomed in and never could see one with fry in her mouth. I agree with you, if you seeing fry in moms mouth, mouth brooders go so long without eating ( due to nature of the mouth brooder ) Mom is really nutriionally depleted after the process of laying the eggs, and then having to protect them in her mouth. I always was amazed to watch the fry run back into momma's mouth when they felt threatened. I love imbuna's, can't remeber the proper spelling, it's been a while.
