Mine won't eat spirulina flake, tetra doromin, hikari cichlid staple, prawns, mussel, squid nor peas. It will eat vacum packed crickets but that's it so far.

I've ordered river shrimp and some krill & crab pellets to try.

What does everyone else feed theirs?

I am not surprised they won't eat peas, I have never had a cichlid that will eat this type of food.

My Severum's will eat tetra dorimim, hikari pellets, bloodworm, kril, small sinking pellets and various other foods if they get the chance.

I'm not going to pretend I know why some fish turn their noses up at certain foods, I've got Oscar's that show no interest in pellets, put a frozen lance fish in there and they go mad for them.

I guess I am lucky, My sev eats anything...

My sev eats what my other fish eat. Pellets, prawns, maggots worms. He would eat insects but he isnt quick enough to get the odd one i catch and throw in the tank
