holy crap! i was just cleaning the glass on the outside of the tank, and when i was finished, i noticed my green terror was laying motionless underneath a rock.
i seriously thought it was dead until i saw it breathing... barely.
i think the paper towel freaked her out, but i have never seen it react so badly.
ever since i had to put her into the timeout net a couple of weeks ago, it has been freaked out by anything that isn't food, fish or me.
i shut off the light right away, and 30 seconds later she was swimming around picking at the sand. CRAZY!!
i need to do some algae scraping, but now i am thinking twice

Please, for my sake, change your oil!

lol thats funny shit! You should get one of those magnetic scraper things... Maybe she will get used to it... Did the time out net get her to calm down? or just teach her to play dead?

the timeout net did it's job, maybe too well. it was harrassing the biggest fish in the tank, but stopped after the net.
Please, for my sake, change your oil!

Its not surprising that your fish is scared of you after using the time out net. Your fish will get back to normal soon. Green terrors are aggressive fish and i suspect that once it gets back to normal it will start causing grief again, but lets hope not

lol, if he can do this on command, playing dead, you could be thinking of starting your own circus!
Our fish don't grow too big, our tank becomes too small!
