so girl friend has a pair of electric yellows in her 46 gallon bow front..
the two fish had babies
she stripped the mom to get the babies out...
had about 18 tiny tiny fish in her mouth...
she quickly got a little seprate tank that floats inside the main tank and has vents buts doesnt let the babies out
she was affraid that if she threw them in the tank the dad fish would eat them because there so tiny
anyway there about two weeks old now eatting first bights still and about a quarter of an inch long...
the question is if she lets them out into the main tank will the parents protect them and not eat them? or hunt them down?
theres no other fish in the tank except the parent fish/....

when you rehome those babies, think of me. ill addopt them lol EY's my fav lil fishy

she wants to keep them all no re homing lol
the only two worries are babies get sucked up into filters?
which are a fluval 305 and a aqua clear 50
or the parents eatting them?
what do you guys think?
should we let them out the little box that floats in the main tank....and let them run free with the parents and hope they dont eat them? SURVIVAL OF THE FITEST HA HA
or just keep them were there at till a little bigger?
