i have a few questions about motas
first of all this is a mota right ?



it's pic of my mota (at least I think so) and i havent seen him eatin ever but hes growin. what do they prefer to eat?

motas are aggressive fish right? but mine get beaten by all of his tankmates, even my acara beats him and he has never shown any aggression so far. what could be the reason for his behavior?

I dont think my mota has any sickness cuz he is the most active fish in that tank

PS : if fish in the above pic is not a mota what is it

from the pic you posted i would have to say that the fish is not a mota. as for what it is i really cant tell. if possible could you get a side shot with maybe a little more clarity???

the body shape looks more like herichthys than parachromis but it is a little difficult to say with certainty.
