I've been looking for another peaceful cichlid to go in the big tank and I found this guy at the lfs yesterday :)






My Severum chased him a little at first but now they swim around together and get along fine :)

Edit: sorry about putting this in the wrong category. I'm having some difficulties today haha :blush:

most people say no and def not as fast as oscars ...

but Mine went from 1.5 inches to almost 7 in about 7 mts and REALLY thick
so not quite a inch a mth but they are a thick fish

but I am also WC a lot and feeding a great diet so im sure normally they do not grow this fast

O yeah! I totally agree ! I have a male and a female and they are so cool... they change between so many different colors ! its awesome ...

around 0.5" a month, a little more for males, and a little less for females.
