So far I'm only feeding him the mini Hikari Pellets and the Spirulina Flakes, my question is: How often and what should I feed him??
So far it goes like this:
8am: 1 Hikari Pellet (it seems to fill him up and give his stomach a slight bulge
3pm: Small pinch of the flakes (not sure if its too much or if my bristlenose eats most of it)
10pm: 1 Hikari Pellet (same as 8am)
Is this an ok schedule guys?

The fish is about 1.25", and it does eat the pellets very well. I don't mean to sound argumentative here, but is there any reason why I shouldn't do it?
And if it is bad, when should I start? How often should I feed the flakes? If I do a flake every couple hours is that fine? ha

Ha, he's actually eating extremely well for his size! He already knows where I drop food in the tank, and waits there when he sees me coming! I just love giving my fish awesome nutrition, because the benefits you reap are amazing! I just can't wait to spoil him with all the food ha.

I see what you're saying! He does scavenge for food after I feed him his pellet, and always through out the day. But I'll definitely do a lot of small meals through out the day. Maybe only one pellet at night to hold him to the morning?

bassetman wrote: No reason not to. You asked about feeding small fish , I told you how I do it.
Ah, I was expecting a reply as to why you don't bother with pellets under two inches but I didn't ask! I'll definitely take your advice and do lots of little flake feedings, and maybe one pellet feeding at night.
