I would just get the 75g or even 90g. Add some dithers like rosy barbs.

As far as aquascaping, your idea sounds interesting.

Yep! I have the 75 outside now! I'd eventually like to upgrade to a 125 with some silver dollars and maybe a cool pleco.

As for the "interesting" part of your message, is that a good interesting or bad? Ha, you've got me worried

I've got the 75 gallon, but it looks like my landlord is unwilling to let me set it up :( read my next reply to this thread if you are interested

It came time to renew my lease with the landlord, and it was my understanding that I would be able to set up my 75 gallon, but it looks like she changed it on me. Normally, I'd probably argue that we agreed on a bigger tank, but our landlord is being really generous in other ways. So I think it's time to consider selling my fish :(

I learned recently that she was a female, because she's laid many clutches of eggs. She's getting close to 4", and is growing really fast. I'm fairly sure it would be the right thing to do by selling her, but what do you guys think? If she could potentially grow to 8"-10" it would be nice to put her in a new home.

Here are some photos of her. Always greeting me at the glass :) the tank was mid water change during the pictures. There is a ton of moss and duckweed in the tank. That's why it's so dark!

Upload the pics to photobucket then copy and paste the img code in your text here. I do it with my iPad no problems

Go do a water change - the solution to pollution is dilution.
