55G is really only big enough for one single Oscar.
And 3 is never a good number to have since 2 will usually team up against the third one.
For two you should have at least a 110G tank. Something 6 ft long.
So if you can upgrade to at least 110G rehome one Oscar , if you can't rehome 2 of them.
Go buy a good quality liquid test kit to see what your water quality is like. The API Master Test Kit is a good one to buy.

What filtration is on that tank ?
How big are those Oscars ?
How often and how much of the water do you change ?

Fire gives good advice. Answer the questions about your setup and water conditions and we can help a lot more.

mild aggression is normal. as long as one isnt really getting the short end of the stick. 3 oscar is a bad number. but it can work.

with that being said - im afraid the real problem is that the tank is too small. you have to think of 2 things when stocking the tank...... aggression and bio load.

these fish are only 3 inches and your already having aggression issues. they are just fighting for their own space.

bio load wise you should have any problems..... yet. but theres just no way to keep good water quality with 3 big fish in a 55.

Having accurate water levels would tell us a lot more.

You should get the API kit like fire mentioned asap. At 7 months old they should be bigger then 3-4 inches. I suspect water quality may be affecting their growth. What % of the water are you changing each week?

Go do a water change - the solution to pollution is dilution.

Bio-load & aggression are your key issues here......as stated by FS, this will not work in that size tank, no matter their current size. If you can't get a much bigger tank today, I would re-home 2 of the Oscars.

I am moving this thread to the SA cichlid section.

THOSE WHO REFUSE KNOWLEDGE ARE DOOMED TO FAIL.

WATER CHANGES ARE THE LIFEBLOOD OF THIS HOBBY. IF YOU DON'T BELIEVE SO OR SIMPLY DON'T FEEL LIKE DOING THEM, RE-HOME YOUR FISH, SELL YOUR AQUARIUM & FIND ANOTHER HOBBY, AS YOU WILL FAIL UTTERLY, COMPLETELY, & MISERABLY.
