Because i have to be down with my dog hannah 24/7 for two weeks do you all think i am giving my fish enough food? I didnt have anytime to test the water today, i just threw some food in and went right back down with hannah. I usialy spend ten minutes feeding them so they eat every pellet and i can show them the food first and turn the light on for a hour before i feed but now i havent been doing that so im afraid my fish arent getting enough food what do you all think? also i was thinking about putting them on a auto feeder but it either feeds too much or too litle so which setting should i put it on and it does it eighter every twelve hours or every 24 again thanks you all.
You don't HAVE to be with your dog 24/7. What type of essential service are you providing where you need to be immediately directly
at her side for 24/7?
The dog is in your house right? So how is that going to consume so much of your time that you can't run upstairs and feed the fish for a couple of mins. each day? I'm sure the dog isn't going to spontaneously combust or anything if you leave to feed the fish for a bit. Again, I think you should be more concerned with possibly overfeeding rather than underfeeding. You also don't need to buy an 'autofeeder.' Just put that money in the 'new tank' jar.
