first, i am not sure if it is really a prawn? it looks like grass shrimp to me.
2nd, i can not see the load of eggs on its belly... do you?
if you have indeed a load of eggs, it will be released when ready to hatch...
but only few will survived....
glass shrimp, prawn its all the same to me. Thanks. The first pic is of another "shrimp" I have in the tank for comparison, The next few pics are of a shrimp with a green blob down near her legs. This green blob when closely looked at looks very similar to a heap of eggs (they look singular up close) unless she is just full up of something green which I have NOTHING of in my tank or she has an undeveloped clutch of eggs in her possession. I brought the shrimp as feeders for my turtle and have no interest if the young survive but I would still like to allow the mother to be able to have the clutch still. I noticed the green yesterday the 19-8-10 does any readers of this post know how long to expect her to drop the eggs? I may try and get her into her own tank for the drop.
