I went to go feed my sisters betta fish and i noticed the eyes are sort of cloudy theres a white dot in the middle of its eye. What is this and what action should i take i told my sister it was cause she never changes the water, the fish is probly a year and a half or so old. I told her im going to get her a 5gallon filter for her but is this a treatable desiese any other info also helpful thanks.

If you are in the US, they sell a product called "Betta Fix", sold by all the betta stuff. I filter my Betta tanks and they live much longer. The Betta fix is pretty much melafix, actually I think its the same stuff, just made for smaller containers. Tea Tree oil. They get kinda blind and floaty when they are old.

Oh well if old for a betta is 1 and a half to two years ya her bettas old i have melafax on hand should i try that?
