Your tank is relatively small, get yourself a magnetic algae scraper, a quick wipe every couple of days will keep the glass nice and clean.

If you want a fish that has a reputation of eating lots of algae but don't get too big then you can't go far wrong with a Bristlenose Catfish

also... how many hours per day do you have your tank lights on?
maybe turn them off a few hours earlier each day, this can help.
also, try to stop any sunlight hitting the tank, this is a big cause for algae.

Change your water a little more often to help prevent it, unless your aquarium is in front of a window, I don't think it would help much then

If algae still persists, just get a magnet-o scraper thingy like Penn suggested and just clean it off manually.

i used to scrub the inner wall of my tank manually.
in my gold fish tank, i love the nipping works
done by the fishes whenever i put my hand inside the
tank. it is also another way of bonding with the fishes
