i introduced two 6 to 7 inch silver sharks to my tank about ten days ago and they dont seem to be feeding
they share with my 11 inch oscar and two 6 inch tin foil barbs and a 7 inch plec
admitidly the other 3 fish are very greedy but the sharks just dont seem interested
i mainly feed them on tetra doromin floating stick and the odd earth worm for oscar
at first i thought they might not like taking floating food and compeating with the oscar and tin foils and tryed using new life spectrum sinking pellets but they still dont seem interested the tin foils think its their birthday
any advise will be welcomed
all fish seem to be in very good health , no fighting and the sharks are showing no signs of being hungry

in my case, my pangasius, took 6 days before taking any food.
i am not sure if silver shark have the same characteristics.
i do believe that any fishes wouldn't starve themselves to
death. in no time, it will take the foods.

dont fall into over feeding. i would try feeding them with the light out. also its early days after just being put in with other large fish. are they hiding or swimming about out in open.

i managed to get in touch with the previous owners of the sharks and they have been bought up on prawns !
started feeding straight away

could have been they were gettin used to their new home and chaging food was a touch too much for them, seems like if all they eat is prawns it could be a good idea to try wean them off just 1 kind of food to a more varied diet that would probably end up cheaper for you as well!!
