I have recently rescued a pair of vary large fish that I think are Oscars or perhaps another type of Cichlid. I am new to the fish world and could use some help identifying these fish. Pic is not great but I can send others if need be.

One is about 11" long and the other about 8". They have one baby with them who is about 3 inches. She is all white with a few black spots.

Thanks

I'm afraid you are too vague, and without a photograph, it's rather like asking us to identify a car by its colour and the fact it's got four wheels. We definitely need a photograph

Here is the pic of the largest one. The little one with it is apparently one of their babies from the fall.

My pic will upload to this forum. It is too large. I am going to try to shrink it but I am not so good with technology.

We tend to recommend photo bucket for adding photos to the forum

Looks just like my Jade Eyed Cichlid. However, before I commit myself, how big is it?

Actually, I think it's a Midas Cichlid, it is far too big to be a jade Cichlid

i am no0t good in the scientific name but this one is similar to flower horn here in manila. the features and markings shows similarity but the body contour is different... perhaps due to stunt growth.

just my opinion.....
