My son and I built a fiddler crab tank from some spare plexiglass.

we got our new filter in for our 150 gal tank!

working on 150 gal tank decor, can really see the driftwood in the pic, we bought the gravel, and bought all kinds of plants off eBay for cheap!

Mr. Fish ate a crayfish that actually lived for 2 weeks in his tank, that came from my son's 10 gal.

just a few things that are going on in our little fish world.

Nice build, what glue did you use to build the tank?

Wow, that is a lot going on. You should do a thread on the fiddler crab tank in the DIY section. Very cool update, and who ate the crayfish(mudbug)?

Well I haven't had a chance to hook up the SUNSUN yet, it's for the 150 gal that will be replacing our 55 gal. But the media from it is in our running filter to prime it for the new tank.

We just used silicone for the tank.

Our oscar fish ate the crayfish, the little thing actually survived for about 2 weeks before being eaten lol.

My only experience with SUNSUN is the heater I recently bought, works great, and half the price of others of the same size.

Also I could not find any complaints about this filter, and at $104 shipped. for the upgraded 200 gallon filter kit, including an extra UV bulb and extra filter media I figured it would be worth a shot.

We have the same filter on the O tank, and it runs pretty great. That button pressing for priming is awesome- and I get to practice my CPR training, lol.

Throw yourself in- use the wrong words, try different foods, kiss random fish. It's an adventure!

Silicone doesnt bond very well at all with acrylic, sooner than later that tank will pop apart at the seams. You need to use weldon 4 acrylic cement, make sure to remove all the silicone and wipe down with alcohol
