whoa i didn't notice them breeding. i was busy with my new oscar this past few days. when i peeked in my betta pond, i saw 30-40 fry. what should i do? should i separate the parents from the fry?

Did you have males and females just generally living together? You should remove the female but keep the male in for a little while as he will help tend to the fry.

if your intention is to breed and sell, leave them alone and they
will multiply. if your objective is just to have some, do what
bowhunter suggested.

until when should the male stay with the fry?
the babies are living in the bubbles their daddy made.

the male would stay with the fry until the lady is ready to mate again.
and the fry will be in trouble
