looking to set up a 75 gallon tank with central american cichlids.

this is the set up im proposing..

2 x firemouths (pair)
1 x regular pleco (clean up tank/dispose of eggs and fry)
1 x jack dempsey (male)
10 x tiger barbs (dithers)

do you think this set up would work?
do i have room for any more? lol

Idk how quickly jacks grow but i would think he would eventually eat the barbs.

your stocking list sounds good. the only thing i would do is forget about the pleco. as for a jacks they are faily slow growing(compared to oscars) and might not eat the barbs but might kill them...
