I am a Fisherman myself and often fish for carp. However I think that a lot of fish are being put under great pressure because carp angling is more popular now than it ever has been. People are visiting these venues 24/7. They are piling in tons and tons of bait which can't be good for the fish in the long run.
If this carp were a human being, you would be at serious risk from health problems. When fish feed on natural food, they don't develop huge stomachs.
These big venues attract a lot of fishermen that put an un-believable amount of bait into the water. We're talking high protein bait such as boilies, high oil content pellets, and various other ground baits.
