Like we really need another one, my gals cousin gave us another 55gal, she was tired of it taking up space in her mobile home, it's a little rough, some scratches on the glass. a couple of chips on the corners, make shift hood. Looks like I will be hunting stuff up for it at yard sales and craigs list. She didn't have it set up when we got it, I figure she had terriable luck at fish keeping. The first clue was, the filter she had for it was an antique 10gal crapper.

you talkin about a bad hood, this is just some 1x12's cut to length!!! ive never had anything escape from it except for a black mystery snail. i got that tank and stand for 50 dollars from a good friend of mine because it wasnt being used and he just wanted it out of his house. they had kept a turtle in it.
