I believe this fairytale has it's origin in the possibility of people tripping hard on bufotonine, the working ingredient in DMT. This is excreted fron a gland on the belly of the frog, but only if it's stressed.
Being an former "Psychonaut" I allready knew this, but now i found out that there a lot of fish that have Bufotonine in them and it's probably as a defence mechanism.
Bufotonine is very potent and getting the dosage right is a pain, lots of people have died from the substance.
So I suppose we do not start licking these fish when you find them in your LFS,this thread is purely informational and not to give folks stupid ideas!
Don't try this at home,kids, DMT is nothing to be messed with.
