I sadly just lost three of my silver dollars - after 10+ years. I'm wondering what to do with the last remaining fish. I know they need to be in groups - so I feel very bad for him being all alone. He is currently in the tank with my two new baby O's - and based on his size, he won't become a meal anytime soon.

Should I try taking him to my LFS? how does that work? I don't want money for him - just want him to be happy.

Or, do I just let him live the rest of his life alone? Maybe I'm over thinking this:)

thanks

sorry for the loss. 10+ years is already an accomplishment. if i am in your
place, i will try to get new decent size SD for company. he/she may have few
years left. who knows, he/she may live for another 10 years.... just my thought.

I agree with Paul, try to find another 1 or 2 sd's to go with him. Or get some small ones and grow them on in another tank, feed them well with lots of water changes and they will grow real quick
