I bought a synodontis yesterday. There were a fair few in the tank and they all looked different. I've since found out that there are a couple of hundred different species. I'd like to try and find out what I have but I'm not having much look with google. Does any have a link to a site that has lots of species pictures?

i have a lace synodontis that is a beauty, i never can get pics of it tho, anytime i move around the tank it immediatly hides lol

These aren't very good pictures but the best I can get for now. It's about 5 - 6"

i have a synodontis also, one i bought at petsmart. he is growing really quickly, started at about 2" back in april. now it is about 7".
i don't know exactly what species he is, and haven't had much luck researching either

Could be , but I'm not sure.
I went over all pics on planet catfish but there's somany colourations and differenece in spots, even between the same genus...

i'm not a 100% sure either. there are a few that look similar, some of which top out at like 7 inches, others get almost 2 feet. , i guess i will wait and see
