I was a bad impulse shopper today and bought a 10"+ Lace Catfish. I saw him, and had to have him. I like the fish, he's cool but he sure as hell wasn't what I went in the LFS to get! I only wanted a Peacock Eel and to price out Severums or SDs. Instead I walk out with an Eel and a rather large catfish.

Has anyone ever owned one of these fish? I did a bit of homework on him after I got him home. (Bad me, I know.) He seems like he'll get along with the Oscar, and his mouth is definitely too small to eat any of the fish in the tank. So I'm not really going to worry about him too much. I'll see if I can get pics later.

He looks like this fish. Except mine's pretty much black. But you can still see the spots on his fins and tail though.

lol im still trying to see mine as 10 inches, its about four lmao... ive only had it a few months tho, its gotten fat since i brought it home.

Not the greatest pics because my camera sucks. But I think you can get the idea. The Oscar has been rather welcoming surprisingly. And the catfish still thinks he's small enough to hide out with the other fish. Sorry buddy, but your big ass ain't gonna fit in that treasure chest with the others. lol
